    READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (SECURITY COURTESY SWITCH)


    1. Using the intelligent tester, read the Data List (Click here).

      ON: Engine hood open

      OFF: Engine hood closed

      ON (engine hood open) and OFF (engine hood closed) appear on screen according to condition of engine hood.

    INSPECT SECURITY COURTESY SWITCH


    1. A01DOVY

      Disconnect the A27 switch connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      2 - 3 Always Below 1 Ω

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SECURITY COURTESY SWITCH - MAIN BODY ECU AND BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the A27 switch connector.

    2. Disconnect the G64 ECU connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A27-2 - G64-12 (HD2) Always Below 1 Ω
      A27-3 - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      A27-2 or G64-12 (HD2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    1. A01DOVY

      Disconnect the A27 switch connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 4 Unlock position Below 1 Ω
      1 - 4 Lock position 10 kΩ or higher

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SECURITY COURTESY SWITCH - MAIN BODY ECU AND BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the A27 switch connector.

    2. Remove the main body ECU (Click here).

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A27-1 - A-20 (HCTY) Always Below 1 Ω
      A27-4 - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      A27-1 or A-20 (HCTY) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
