DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when items controlled by the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) cannot be customized via the audio and visual system vehicle customization screen.

Tip:

The certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) controls the entry and start system (for Entry Function) related items that are customizable via the radio and display receiver assembly screen.

    CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


    1. Use the GTS to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.


      OK
      CAN communication DTCs are not output.

    CHECK ENTRY AND START SYSTEM (for Entry Function)


    1. Check if the entry and start system (for entry function) is malfunctioning (Click here).

      Tip:

      Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the entry and start system (for entry function).

      OK
      No malfunctions are present in the entry and start system (for entry function).

    CHECK CUSTOMIZE ITEMS


    1. Display the "Vehicle Customization" screen.

    2. Make a note of the customizable items for each certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) related system.

      Tip:

      These items shown as customizable via the navigation system vehicle customization screen can also be changed manually. In a following step, a manual procedure will be used.


      1. Check the customize parameters list for the entry and start system (for entry function) related items that can be customized via the radio and display receiver assembly screen (Click here).

    3. Manually change and confirm that it was possible to successfully change the settings of the customize parameters for each system that are available for customization via the radio and display receiver assembly screen.

      The items available for customization via the radio and display receiver assembly screen can be customized successfully using the manual procedure.
