INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY - VIDEO [VIDEO ADAPTER] TERMINAL)


    1. Disconnect the W14 television display assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the T1 video (video adapter) terminal connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      W14-18 (ADPI) - T1-8 (ADPG) Always Below 1 Ω
      W14-19 (SGN3) - T1-3 (VA-) Always Below 1 Ω
      W14-20 (L+) - T1-2 (VAL+) Always Below 1 Ω
      W14-21 (SNG6) - T1-7 (SG) Always Below 1 Ω
      W14-22 (R+) - T1-1 (VAR+) Always Below 1 Ω
      W14-18 (ADPI) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      W14-19 (SGN3) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      W14-20 (L+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      W14-21 (SNG6) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      W14-22 (R+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Remove the video (video adapter) terminal connector still connected Click here.

    2. Using an oscilloscope, check the waveform between each terminal and the body ground according to the conditions as shown in the table below.
