RADIO RECEIVER (for Radio and Display Type) INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


  1. INSTALL NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY


    1. Attach the 7 claws and 2 guides to install the No. 3 instrument panel register assembly.

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 RADIO RECEIVER BRACKET


    1. Install the No. 2 radio receiver bracket with the 3 screws.

      Torque:
      3.0 N*m  { 31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 RADIO RECEIVER BRACKET


    1. Install the No. 1 radio receiver bracket with the 3 screws.

      Torque:
      3.0 N*m  { 31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL NAVIGATION ECU (w/ Navigation System)

  5. INSTALL HAZARD SWITCH WIRE


    1. Attach the clamp to install the hazard switch wire.

  6. INSTALL HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the hazard warning signal switch assembly.

    2. Connect the connector.

  7. INSTALL RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY


    1. Connect each connector.

    2. A01DQZF

      Insert the radio and display receiver assembly and attach the 7 clips on the backside of the radio and display receiver assembly.

      Note

      When inserting the receiver, do not press the knobs on it.

    3. Install the radio and display receiver assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

  8. INSTALL INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY


    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Attach the 4 clips to install the integration control and panel assembly.

  9. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.
