PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (DSS SIGNAL BUZZER)


    1. Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    4. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    5. Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRC / Active Test.

    6. Check that the skid control buzzer sounds/stops when turning the skid control buzzer on/off by using the intelligent tester.

    CHECK TERMINAL VOLTAGE (IG1)


    1. Disconnect the A12 skid control buzzer connector.

      Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

    INSPECT SKID CONTROL BUZZER


    1. Remove the skid control buzzer (Click here).

    2. A01DMS7E04

      Apply battery voltage to the skid control buzzer, and check that the buzzer sounds.

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SKID CONTROL BUZZER - SKID CONTROL ECU)


    1. Disconnect the A7 skid control ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the A12 skid control buzzer connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A7-30 (BZ) - A12-1 (BZ) Always Below 1 Ω
      A7-30 (BZ) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
