Front view of wire harness connector

(to Skid Control ECU [Brake Actuator Assembly])

    1. Disconnect the connector and measure the voltage or resistance on the wire harness side.

      Tech Tips

Voltage cannot be measured with the connector connected to the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) as the connector is watertight.

      1. Disconnect the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) connector.

      2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
        A6-1 (GND1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Skid control ECU ground Always Below 1 Ω
        A6-2 (STP) - Body ground V - Body ground Stop light switch input Brake pedal depressed → released 8 to 14 V → Below 1.5 V
        A6-12 (+BS) - Body ground L-R - Body ground Solenoid relay power supply Always 11 to 14 V
        A6-13 (GND2) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Pump motor ground Always Below 1 Ω
        A6-22 (STP2) - Body ground L - Body ground Stop light control ECU input Brake pedal depressed → released 8 to 14 V → Below 1.5 V
A6-24 (BM) - Body ground B - Body ground Motor relay power supply Always 11 to 14 V
        A6-25 (CANH) - A6-14 (CANL) B*1, R*2 - W CAN bus Ignition switch off 54 to 69 Ω
        A6-27 (FSW+) - Body ground V-G - Body ground Brake pedal load sensing switch input Brake pedal depressed → released 950 to 1050 Ω → 203 to 223 Ω
        A6-34 (IG1) - Body ground G - Body ground ECU power supply Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
