DESCRIPTION

The vehicle height can be adjusted by pressing the height control switch.

By pressing the "up" side, vehicle height is raised.

By pressing the "down" side, vehicle height is lowered.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (HEIGHT CONTROL SWITCH)


    1. Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    4. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    5. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Air suspension / Data List.

      Height Control Switch (UP) Height control switch ("up" side) / ON or OFF

      ON: Switch is pressed and held

      OFF: Switch is not pressed

      ON: Switch is pressed and held

      OFF: Switch is not pressed

    6. Check that the value displayed on the intelligent tester changes by pressing the height control switch "up" side or "down" side.

  2. INSPECT CENTER CLUSTER MODULE SWITCH


    1. Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. Remove the height control switch (center cluster module switch) Click here.

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      7 (LO) - 24 (E) "Down" pressed Below 1 Ω
      7 (LO) - 24 (E) "Up" pressed 10 kΩ or higher
      6 (HI) - 24 (E) "Down" pressed 10 kΩ or higher
      6 (HI) - 24 (E) "Up" pressed Below 1 Ω

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CENTER CLUSTER MODULE SWITCH - SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU)


    1. Disconnect the G156 height control switch (center cluster module switch) connector.

    2. Disconnect the A49 suspension control ECU connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G156-6 (HI) - A49-15 (UPSW) Always Below 1 Ω
      G156-7 (LO) - A49-14 (DNSW) Always Below 1 Ω
      G156-24 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      G156-6 (HI) or A49-15 (UPSW) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G156-7 (LO) or A49-14 (DNSW) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
