Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
The procedure listed below is for the LH side.
REMOVE FRONT WHEEL
REMOVE DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY LH
Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the brake tube from the disc brake cylinder assembly.
Tech Tips
Use a container to catch brake fluid as it drains out.
Remove the 2 bolts and disc brake cylinder assembly.
REMOVE FRONT DISC

Place matchmarks on the disc and axle hub if planning to reuse the disc.
Remove the front disc.
REMOVE FRONT AXLE HUB BOLT LH

| *b | Hold |
Using SST and a screwdriver or equivalent to hold the axle hub, remove the front axle hub bolt.
Note
Do not damage the threads of the hub bolt.
INSTALL FRONT AXLE HUB BOLT LH

| *2 | Nut |
| *a | Turn |
| *b | Hold |
Insert a new hub bolt.
Temporarily install a washer and hub nut to the hub bolt as shown in the illustration.
Note
Install a hub nut to prevent damage to the hub bolt.
Using a screwdriver or equivalent to hold the hub, turn the hub nut until the bottom surface of the hub bolt head touches the axle hub.
Remove the hub nut and washer.
Note
Do not damage the threads of the hub bolt.
INSTALL FRONT DISC
Align the matchmarks and install the front disc.
Tech Tips
When replacing the disc with a new one, select the installation position where the disc has the smallest runout.
INSTALL DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY LH
Install the disc brake cylinder assembly with the 2 bolts.
Using a union nut wrench, connect the brake tube to the disc brake cylinder assembly.
