DESCRIPTION

When the millimeter wave radar sensor beam axis has deviated, the ECM detects this and stores DTC P1572.

P1572 While the vehicle speed is 50 km/h (31 mph) or more with the cruise control switch on and the millimeter wave radar sensor performing self diagnosis, axis deviation is detected for 1 second. Millimeter wave radar sensor assembly

  1. ADJUST MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Adjust the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly Click here.

  2. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Perform the following to make sure the DTC detection conditions are met.

      Tech Tips

      If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.


      1. Drive the vehicle at a speed of 50 km/h (31 mph) or more.

      2. Turn the cruise control switch on.

    3. Check for DTCs Click here.
