EXHAUST PIPE REMOVAL

CAUTION:


  • Wear protective gloves when removing the exhaust pipe.

  • The exhaust pipe is extremely hot immediately after the engine has stopped.

  • Confirm that the exhaust pipe has cooled down before removing it.


  1. REMOVE TAILPIPE ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Disconnect the exhaust pipe support to remove the tailpipe assembly.

    3. Remove the gasket.

  2. REMOVE CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Disconnect the 2 exhaust pipe supports to remove the center exhaust pipe assembly.

    3. Remove the gasket.

  3. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR

    1. Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.

    2. Detach the wire harness clamp.

      Using SST, remove the air fuel ratio sensor.

  4. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR

    1. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.

    2. Detach the wire harness clamp.

    3. A01DSFEE01

      Using SST, remove the heated oxygen sensor.

  5. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the 2 bolt and 2 compression springs.

    2. Disconnect the exhaust pipe support to remove the front exhaust pipe assembly.

    3. Remove the gasket.
