FUEL INJECTOR REMOVAL


  1. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE


    1. Discharge the fuel system pressure Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note


    • After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

    • When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the throttle motor with body assembly Click here.

  4. DISCONNECT FUEL HOSE

    1. Disconnect the fuel hose Click here.

  5. DISCONNECT NO. 2 FUEL HOSE

    A01DQJ0

    1. Disconnect the No. 2 fuel hose.

  6. REMOVE FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 2 bolts and fuel pressure pulsation damper.

  7. REMOVE FUEL DELIVERY PIPE WITH FUEL INJECTOR

    1. Disconnect the 4 injector connectors.

    2. Disconnect the purge VSV connector.

    3. Detach the wire harness clamp.

    4. Remove the bolt and wire harness clamp bracket.

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the purge VSV.

    6. A01DM3G

      Remove the 2 bolts and fuel delivery pipe together with the fuel injectors.

      Note

      Be careful not to drop the fuel injectors when removing the fuel delivery pipe.

    7. A01DTMT

      Remove the 2 No. 1 delivery pipe spacers.

    8. Remove the 4 injector vibration insulators.

    9. Using a screwdriver, remove the 4 spacers.

  8. REMOVE FUEL INJECTOR ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 4 fuel injectors from the fuel delivery pipe.
