  • Use the following procedures to troubleshoot the wide view front monitor system.

  • *: Use the GTS.


  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP

  2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE


    1. Measure the battery voltage with the engine switch off.

      Standard voltage
      11 to 14 V

      If the voltage is below 11 V, replace or recharge the battery before proceeding.

  3. CHECK NAVIGATION SYSTEM OR AUDIO AND VISUAL SYSTEM


    1. for Navigation Receiver Type:

      Refer to the navigation system Click here.

    2. for Radio and Display Type:

      Refer to the audio and visual system Click here.

  4. CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM*


    1. Use the GTS to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

  5. CHECK DTC OUTPUT*


    1. Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output Click here.

    2. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    3. Recheck for DTCs. Try to prompt the DTC by simulating the original activity that the DTC suggests Click here.

      Note

      The parking assist ECU may store the DTCs of the following system. If DTCs other than those specified in Diagnostic Trouble Code Chart of the side monitor system are output, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code Chart for the applicable system.
