NAVIGATION ANTENNA REMOVAL

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT

    A01DNTR

    1. Remove the 4 screws <A> and No. 1 heater to register duct.

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the No. 1 heater to register duct.

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT

    1. Remove the screw <A>.

    2. Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 side defroster nozzle duct.

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the No. 1 side defroster nozzle duct.

  8. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 4 screws <A> and defroster nozzle.

  9. REMOVE NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

      Detach the 2 clamps.

    2. Remove the 2 screws and navigation antenna assembly.
