DESCRIPTION

The navigation receiver assembly sends a sound signal to the stereo component amplifier assembly via this circuit.

The sound signal that has been sent is amplified by the stereo component amplifier assembly, and then is sent to the speakers.

Tip:

When replacing the navigation receiver assembly, it is necessary to perform the vehicle contract setting for Connected Services (w/ Connected Services Function).

  1. Click here

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the H54 navigation receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the H63 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H54-6 (FL-) - H63-2 (L-) Always Below 1 Ω
      H54-2 (FL+) - H63-3 (L+) Always Below 1 Ω
      H54-5 (FR-) - H63-4 (R-) Always Below 1 Ω
      H54-1 (FR+) - H63-5 (R+) Always Below 1 Ω
      H54-6 (FL-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H54-2 (FL+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H54-5 (FR-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H54-1 (FR+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H63-6 (SLD) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
