THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM TERMINALS OF ECU


  1. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) AND INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connectors.

    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      MB-14 (TRLY) - Body ground*2 - Supply battery to taillight relay drive Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connectors.

    4. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  2. CHECK GLASS BREAKAGE SENSOR ECU (w/ Glass Breakage Sensor)


    1. Disconnect the k1 glass breakage sensor ECU connector.

    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.
