KEY REMINDER WARNING SYSTEM TERMINALS OF ECU


  1. CHECK INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY AND MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)

    1. Disconnect the MB and I13 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.

    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Tech Tips

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      MB-11 (GND1) - Body ground - Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      MB-31 (ALTB) - Body ground - Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      MB-2 (FLCY) - Body ground - Driver door courtesy light switch input Driver door open Below 1 Ω
      MB-2 (FLCY) - Body ground - Driver door courtesy light switch input Driver door closed 10 kΩ or higher
      I13-17 (KSW) - Body ground G - Body ground Unlock warning switch signal No key in ignition key cylinder 10 kΩ or higher
      I13-17 (KSW) - Body ground G - Body ground Unlock warning switch signal Key in ignition key cylinder Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
