INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK LOCK FUNCTION OF GENERATOR PULLEY WITH CLUTCH


    1. Check the lock function with the pulley installed in the vehicle.


      1. Visually check that the rotor in the generator operates with the engine started.

    2. Check the lock function with the pulley removed from the vehicle.


      1. Remove the generator pulley cap.

        Hold the generator rotor using SST, and turn the generator pulley with clutch clockwise to check that the outer ring locks Click here.

  2. CHECK LOCK OF GENERATOR PULLEY WITH CLUTCH


    1. Start the engine and visually check for looseness of the generator pulley with clutch.

      OK
      The generator pulley with clutch is not loose.

    TIGHTEN GENERATOR PULLEY WITH CLUTCH TO THE SPECIFIED TORQUE

    OK
