  1. IGNITION SWITCH EXPRESSION


    1. The type of ignition switch used on this model differs depending on the specifications of the vehicle. The expressions listed in the table below are used in this section.

      Expression Ignition Switch (Position) Engine Switch (Condition)
      Ignition Switch off LOCK Off (Lock)
      Ignition Switch ACC ACC On (ACC)
      Ignition Switch ON ON On (IG)
      Engine Start START Start

  2. INITIALIZATION

    • Perform initialization (throttle position) after replacing the throttle body with motor assembly or cleaning any throttle body with motor assembly components Click here.

    • Perform initialization (throttle position) after reconnecting the battery cable or replacing the ECM Click here.

    • If the ECM is replaced, register the ECM communication ID for the immobiliser system (refer to the Service Bulletin for Registration).
