EXHAUST MANIFOLD REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH

  2. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH

  3. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER LH

  4. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER RH

  5. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.

    2. A01HO1Y

      Remove the 2 bolts, 2 compression springs and 2 nuts.

    3. Remove the front exhaust pipe assembly from the exhaust pipe support.

    4. Remove the 2 gaskets from the exhaust manifold converter sub-assembly and front exhaust pipe assembly.

  6. REMOVE MANIFOLD STAY


    1. A01HPVC

      Remove the bolt, nut and manifold stay.

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 MANIFOLD STAY


    1. A01HOYS

      Remove the bolt, nut and No. 2 manifold stay.

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR (except PZEV)


    1. A01HOF8

      Remove the 4 bolts and No. 1 exhaust manifold heat insulator.

  9. REMOVE EGR INLET EXHAUST MANIFOLD PLATE (for PZEV)


    1. A01HR36

      Remove the bolt and EGR inlet exhaust manifold plate.

  10. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR

  11. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD CONVERTER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01HPZB

      Remove the 5 nuts and exhaust manifold converter sub-assembly (except PZEV).

    2. A01HNC1

      Remove the 5 nuts and exhaust manifold converter sub-assembly (for PZEV).

    3. A01HOJ2E01

      Remove the exhaust manifold to head gasket (except PZEV).

    4. A01HO52E01

      Remove the exhaust manifold to head gasket (for PZEV).

  12. REMOVE NO. 2 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR (except PZEV)


    1. A01HOEQ

      Remove the 2 bolts and No. 2 exhaust manifold heat insulator.

  13. REMOVE NO. 1 MANIFOLD CONVERTER INSULATOR


    1. A01HQKD

      Remove the 4 bolts and No. 1 manifold converter insulator (except PZEV).

    2. A01HPWD

      Remove the 4 bolts and No. 1 manifold converter insulator (for PZEV).
