LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR GARNISH INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT OUTSIDE DOOR GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A015YZ9

      Engage the 5 clips and install the luggage compartment outside door garnish sub-assembly.

    2. Install the 3 nuts.

  2. INSTALL NO. 3 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR PLATE


    1. Clean the vehicle body surface.


      1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface.

      2. Remove the double-sided tape from the vehicle body.

      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    2. Clean the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate (if reusing the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate).


      1. Using a heat light, heat the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate.

      2. Remove the double-sided tape from the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate.

      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

      4. Apply new double-sided tape to the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate.

    3. Install the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate.


      1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and No. 3 luggage compartment door plate.

      2. Remove the peeling paper from the face of the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate.

        Tech Tips

        After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      3. Engage the 2 pins and install the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate.

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR NAME PLATE


    1. Clean the vehicle body surface.


      1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface.

      2. Remove the double-sided tape from the vehicle body.

      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    2. Clean the No. 1 luggage compartment door name plate (If reusing the No. 1 luggage compartment door name plate).


      1. Using a heat light, heat the No. 1 luggage compartment door name plate.

      2. Remove the double-sided tape from the No. 1 luggage compartment door name plate.

      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

      4. Apply new double-sided tape to the No. 1 luggage compartment door name plate.

    3. Install the No. 1 luggage compartment door name plate.


      1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and No. 1 luggage compartment door name plate.

      2. Remove the peeling paper from the face of the No. 1 luggage compartment door name plate.

        Tech Tips

        After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      3. Engage the 2 pins and install the No. 1 luggage compartment door name plate.

  4. INSTALL REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A015YTP

      Install the rear light assembly with the 3 nuts.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the connector.

  5. INSTALL REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  6. INSTALL TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Parking Assist Monitor System)

      Engage the 2 claws to temporarily install the television camera assembly to the luggage compartment as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01623T

      Install the television camera assembly with the 2 screws.

    3. Connect the television camera connector.

    4. Engage the television camera connector clamp.

  7. INSTALL LUGGAGE KEY ELECTRICAL SWITCH


    1. A015Z4A

      Install the luggage key electrical switch with nut.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the connector.

  8. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR REINFORCEMENT


    1. A015ZQH

      Install the luggage compartment door reinforcement with 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

    2. Install the clip.

  9. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER


    1. A015YNG

      Install the luggage compartment door cover with the 12 clips.

  10. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP


    1. A015ZZA

      Install the luggage compartment door assist grip with the 2 screws.

    2. Engage the 3 claws and install the cover.
