LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR GARNISH REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP


    1. A0161LE

      Disengage the 3 claws and disconnect the cover.

    2. A015ZZA

      Remove the 2 screws and luggage compartment door assist grip.

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER


    1. A015YNG

      Using a clip remover, remove the 12 clips and luggage compartment door cover.

  3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR REINFORCEMENT


    1. A015ZQH

      Using a clip remover, remove the clip.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and luggage compartment door reinforcement.

  4. REMOVE LUGGAGE KEY ELECTRICAL SWITCH


    1. A015Z4A

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the nut and luggage key electrical switch.

  5. REMOVE TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Parking Assist Monitor System)


    1. A01623T

      Disengage the camera connector clamp.

    2. Disconnect the television camera connector.

    3. Remove the 2 screws.

    4. A015Z8EE01

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the television camera assembly as shown in the illustration.

  6. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A015YTP

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 3 nuts and rear light assembly.

  7. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR NAME PLATE


    1. A015ZPDE01

      Put protective tape around the No. 1 luggage compartment door name plate.

    2. Insert a piano wire between the vehicle body and No. 1 luggage compartment door name plate.

    3. Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to both wire ends.

    4. Pull the piano wire and cut through the double-sided tape that holds the name plate to the vehicle body.

      Note


      • If reusing the name plate, take care not to damage the No. 1 luggage compartment door name plate.

      • Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    5. Disengage the 2 pins and remove the No. 1 luggage compartment door name plate.

  9. REMOVE NO. 3 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR PLATE


    1. A015ZARE01

      Put protective tape around the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate.

    2. Insert a piano wire between the vehicle body and No. 3 luggage compartment door plate.

    3. Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to both wire ends.

    4. Pull the piano wire and cut through the double-sided tape that holds the door plate to the vehicle body.

      Note


      • If reusing the door plate, take care not to damage the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate.

      • Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    5. Disengage the 2 pins and remove the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate.

  10. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT OUTSIDE DOOR GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A015YZ9

      Remove the 3 nuts.

    2. Disengage the 5 clips and remove the luggage compartment outside door garnish sub-assembly.
