TURN SIGNAL FLASHER ASSEMBLY (for RHD) INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT TURN SIGNAL FLASHER ASSEMBLY


    1. A015ZGLE10

      Disconnect the J30 connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J30-1 (IG) - Body ground Engine switch off Below 1 V
      J30-1 (IG) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      J30-4 (B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
      J30-7 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 V

    3. Reconnect the connector.

    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J30-2 (LR) - Body ground Hazard warning switch OFF Below 1 V
      J30-2 (LR) - Body ground Hazard warning switch ON 11 to 14 V (60 to 120 times per minute)
      J30-2 (LR) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) and turn signal switch (right turn) OFF Below 1 V
      J30-2 (LR) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) and turn signal switch (right turn) ON 11 to 14 V (60 to 120 times per minute)
      J30-3 (LL) - Body ground Hazard warning switch OFF Below 1 V
      J30-3 (LL) - Body ground Hazard warning switch ON 11 to 14 V (60 to 120 times per minute)
      J30-3 (LL) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) and turn signal switch (left turn) OFF Below 1 V
      J30-3 (LL) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) and turn signal switch (left turn) ON 11 to 14 V (60 to 120 times per minute)
      J30-5 (EL) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) and turn signal switch (left turn) OFF 11 to 14 V
      J30-5 (EL) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) and turn signal switch (left turn) ON Below 1 V
      J30-6 (ER) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) and turn signal switch (right turn) OFF 11 to 14 V
      J30-6 (ER) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) and turn signal switch (right turn) ON Below 1 V
      J30-8 (HAZ) - Body ground Hazard warning switch OFF 11 to 14 V
      J30-8 (HAZ) - Body ground Hazard warning switch ON Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, replace the flasher assembly.
