HIGH INTENSITY DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT BULB INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT BULB

      Lock the set spring to install the discharge headlight bulb as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01632H

      Turn the light control ECU socket in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to connect it.

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 HEADLIGHT COVER GASKET


    1. Install a new No. 1 headlight cover gasket.

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BACK COVER

      Install the No. 1 headlight back cover as shown in the illustration.

  4. INSTALL WASHER HOSE (for LH Side)


    1. A0163K2

      Install the washer hose with the bolt.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

  5. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH (for LH Side)

  6. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)


    1. A015ZYF

      Install the air cleaner case sub-assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the vacuum switching valve connector and clamp.

      Connect the vacuum hose and 2 clamps.

  7. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

      Install the air cleaner cap sub-assembly with air cleaner hose and lock the 2 clamps.

      Tech Tips

      Tightening torque for the hose clamp located between the air cleaner cap sub-assembly and air cleaner hose assembly is as follows.

      Torque:
      4.0 N*m  { 41 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf }
    2. A015ZWF

      Connect the air cleaner hose to the throttle body with the hose clamp.

      Torque:
      4.0 N*m  { 41 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf }
    3. A015YRW

      Connect the 2 ventilation hoses with the 2 hose clamps.

      Connect the mass air flow meter connector and wire harness clamp.

  8. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET (for RH Side)


    1. A015YT4

      Install the air cleaner cap sub-assembly with air cleaner hose and lock the 2 clamps.

      Tech Tips

      Tightening torque for the hose clamp located between the air cleaner cap sub-assembly and air cleaner hose assembly is as follows.

      Torque:
      4.0 N*m  { 41 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf }
    2. A015ZWF

      Connect the air cleaner hose to the throttle body with the hose clamp.

      Torque:
      4.0 N*m  { 41 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf }
    3. A015YRW

      Connect the 2 ventilation hoses with the 2 hose clamps.

  9. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH (for RH Side)

  10. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL

      Install the cool air intake duct seal with the 9 clips.

  11. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
