HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL HEADLIGHT CORD

      *1 Grommet

      Engage the grommet to install the headlight cord.

    2. Connect the connector.

      Connect the cover to install the headlight cord as shown in the illustration.

  2. INSTALL HEADLIGHT GASKET


    1. Install a new headlight gasket.

  3. INSTALL LIGHT CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Connect the connector.

      Install the light control ECU sub-assembly with the 4 screws.

      Engage the 2 pins.

    4. Install the bracket with the 2 screws.

    5. A0161VW

      Engage the 2 claws and 2 clamps to connect the headlight cord.

  4. INSTALL HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR BASE PACKING


    1. Install a new headlight leveling motor base packing.

  5. INSTALL HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR


    1. A0161PE

      Engage the tip of the headlight leveling motor with the reflector.

    2. A01602C

      Turn the headlight leveling motor in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to install it.

      Tech Tips

      For the headlight leveling motor RH, rotate it symmetrical to the directional arrow shown in the illustration.

    3. Connect the connector.

  6. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT

      Install the front bumper side support with the 3 screws.

  7. INSTALL FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB


    1. Install the front turn signal light bulb to the headlight cord.

      Turn the front turn signal light bulb and the headlight cord in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration and install them as a unit.

  8. INSTALL DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT BULB

      Lock the set spring to install the discharge headlight bulb as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Do not touch the bulb glass.

      Turn the light control ECU socket in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to connect it.

  9. INSTALL NO. 1 HEADLIGHT COVER GASKET


    1. Install a new No. 1 headlight cover gasket.

  10. INSTALL NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BACK COVER


    1. A01603X

      Engage the 2 guides.

    2. Lock the set spring to install the No. 1 headlight back cover as shown in the illustration.

  11. INSTALL NO. 2 HEADLIGHT BULB


    1. A0163GA

      Install the No. 2 headlight bulb as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Do not touch the bulb glass.

    2. Connect the connector.

  12. INSTALL HEADLIGHT LOCKING CAP

      Install the headlight locking cap as shown in the illustration.
