WASHER MOTOR INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY


    1. A015Z6CE01

      Install the windshield washer motor and pump assembly as shown in the illustration.

  2. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WASHER JAR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY


    1. A015Z7I

      Install the windshield washer jar and pump assembly with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }
    2. A015YS1

      Install the upper part of the windshield washer jar and pump assembly to the windshield washer jar and pump assembly.

    3. Install the bolt.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

    4. Connect each connector.

      Connect the washer hose to the windshield washer motor and pump assembly.

  3. INSTALL NO. 3 COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A0160HW

      Install the screw.

    2. Install the No. 3 cool air intake duct sub-assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

      Engage the engine under cover clip.

      Install the 3 front fender liner LH screws.

  4. INSTALL HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Engage the headlight bracket pin.

    2. Install the headlight assembly with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      4.9 N*m  { 50 kgf*cm, 43 in.*lbf }

      Connect the connector as shown in the illustration.

  5. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY


    1. Connect the 2 fog light connectors.

    2. Connect the headlight cleaner hose to the windshield washer jar and pump assembly.

    3. w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-Sensor system:


      1. Connect the ultrasonic sensor connector.

      Engage the 10 claws and install the front bumper assembly.

      Install the 2 clips and screw.

    6. A0163H6

      Install the 8 screws.

    7. A0162S2

      Install the screw.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

      Install the 2 pin hold clips.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  6. ADD WASHER FLUID


    1. Add washer fluid to the washer jar.

  7. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR


    1. A01623G

      Install the 2 radiator grille protectors.

  8. INSTALL FRONT UPPER FENDER PROTECTOR LH


    1. A0162I4

      Engage the claw and the 4 clips and install the front upper fender protector LH.

    2. Engage the clip on the rubber portion of the cowl top ventilator louver sub-assembly with the front upper fender protector LH.

  9. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH (for LHD)

      Install the engine room side cover LH with the 5 clips.

  10. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH (for RHD)

      Install the engine room side cover LH with the 4 clips.

  11. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL


    1. A01638L

      Install the cool air intake duct seal with the 9 clips.

  12. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.
