FRONT WIPER MOTOR ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. A01607TE01

      Operate the windshield wiper motor assembly.

    2. Stop the windshield wiper motor assembly operation.

    3. Check the automatic stop position.

      OK
      The front wipers stop at the positions shown in the illustration.

      If the result is not as specified, the windshield wiper motor assembly may have a malfunction.

      Area Measurement
      A 15 to 30 mm (0.591 to 1.18 in.)
      B Approx. 40 mm (1.57 in.)
      C 16 to 31 mm (0.630 to 1.22 in.)
      D Approx. 20 mm (0.787 in.)

  2. INSPECT WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. A01613VE01

      Operate the windshield wiper motor assembly.

    2. Stop the windshield wiper motor assembly operation.

    3. Check the automatic stop position.

      OK
      The front wipers stop at the positions shown in the illustration.

      If the result is not as specified, the windshield wiper motor assembly may have a malfunction.

      Area Measurement
      A 15 to 30 mm (0.591 to 1.18 in.)
      B Approx. 40 mm (1.57 in.)
      C 16 to 31 mm (0.630 to 1.22 in.)
