LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A0161Y1

      Engage the 2 claws and install the license plate light assembly.

    2. Connect the connector.

  2. INSTALL LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  3. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT OUTSIDE DOOR GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A015YZ9

      Engage the 5 clips and install the luggage compartment outside door garnish sub-assembly.

    2. Install the 3 nuts.

  4. INSTALL REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A015YTP

      Install the rear light assembly with the 3 nuts.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the connector.

  5. INSTALL REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  6. INSTALL TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Parking Assist Monitor System)

      Engage the 2 claws to temporarily install the television camera assembly to the luggage compartment as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01623T

      Install the television camera assembly with the 2 screws.

    3. Connect the television camera connector.

    4. Engage the television camera connector clamp.

  7. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. A015YIX

      Install the luggage compartment door lock assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

    2. Engage the clamp.

    3. Connect the connector.

  8. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK CYLINDER ASSEMBLY


    1. A0162ZE

      Connect the luggage compartment door lock control cable.

    2. Install the luggage compartment door lock cylinder with the nut.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

    3. Connect the connector and clamp.

  9. INSTALL LUGGAGE KEY ELECTRICAL SWITCH


    1. A015Z4A

      Install the luggage key electrical switch with the nut.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the connector.

  10. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR REINFORCEMENT


    1. A015ZQH

      Install the luggage compartment door reinforcement with 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

    2. Install the clip.

  11. INSTALL REAR SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Tech Tips

    When installing the spoiler, heat the vehicle body and spoiler using a heat light.

    Heating Temperature
    Item Temperature
    Vehicle Body 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
    Spoiler 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

    1. Clean the vehicle body surface.


      1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface.

      2. Remove the double-sided tape from the vehicle body.

      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    2. Clean the spoiler (if reusing the spoiler)


      1. Using a heat light, heat the spoiler.

      2. Remove the double-sided tape from the spoiler.

      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

      4. Apply new double-sided tape to the spoiler.

    3. Install the spoiler.


      1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and spoiler.

      2. Remove the peeling paper from the face of the spoiler.

        Tech Tips

        After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      3. Engage the 5 clips and install the rear spoiler sub-assembly.

    4. Install the 2 nuts.

  12. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER


    1. A015YNG

      Install the luggage compartment door cover with the 12 clips.

  13. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP


    1. A015ZZA

      Install the luggage compartment door assist grip with the 2 screws.

    2. Engage the 3 claws and install the cover.
