INSTALL REAR DOOR UPPER WINDOW FRAME MOULDING
Engage the 2 clips and install the rear door upper window frame moulding to the door frame.
Using an air riveter or hand riveter with a nose piece, install the rear door upper window frame moulding with 6 new rivets.
Tech Tips
If the rivet cannot be cut, pull it once and cut it.
Note
Do not pry the rivet with the riveter, as this will cause damage to the riveter and mandrel.
Confirm that the rivets are seated properly against the moulding. Do not tilt the riveter when installing the rivet to the moulding. Do not leave any space between the rivet head and moulding.
Do not leave any space between the moulding and door frame. Firmly hold the 2 items together while installing the rivet.
INSTALL REAR DOOR FRONT WINDOW FRAME MOULDING
Tech Tips
When installing the rear door front window frame moulding, heat the vehicle body and rear door front window frame moulding using a heat light.

Note
Do not heat the vehicle body and rear door front window frame moulding excessively.
Clean the vehicle body surface.
Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface.
Remove the double-sided tape from the vehicle body.
Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.
Clean the rear door front window frame moulding (if reusing the rear door front window frame moulding).
Using a heat light, heat the rear door front window frame moulding.
Remove the double-sided tape from the rear door front window frame moulding.
Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.
Apply new double-sided tape to the rear door front window frame moulding.
Install the rear door front window frame moulding.
Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and rear door front window frame moulding.
Remove the peeling paper from the face of the rear door front window frame moulding.
Tech Tips
After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.
Install the rear door front window frame moulding with the clip.
INSTALL REAR DOOR BELT MOULDING ASSEMBLY
Engage the 5 clips and install the rear door belt moulding assembly.
INSTALL REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY
Apply MP grease to the sliding parts on the rear door outside handle frame sub-assembly.
Using a "TORX" socket wrench (T30), install the rear door outside handle frame sub-assembly with the screw.
INSTALL REAR DOOR REAR OUTSIDE HANDLE PAD
Engage the 2 claws to install the rear door rear outside handle pad.
INSTALL REAR DOOR FRONT OUTSIDE HANDLE PAD
Engage the 3 claws to install the rear door front outside handle pad.
INSTALL REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE ASSEMBLY
Insert the front end of the rear door outside handle assembly into the rear door outside handle frame.
Note
If the bellcrank lever is not pulled and held when installing the outside handle, the bellcrank lever will interfere with the outside handle and damage the release plate.
Insert the rear end of the rear door outside handle assembly into the rear door outside handle frame. Next slide the rear door outside handle assembly to the front of the vehicle to install it.
Using a "TORX" socket wrench (T30), install the rear door outside handle assembly with the screw.
INSTALL REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE COVER
Install the rear door outside handle cover with the claw.
Using a "TORX" socket wrench (T30), install the rear door outside handle cover with the screw.
INSTALL REAR DOOR INSIDE LOCKING CABLE ASSEMBLY
Install the rear door inside locking cable assembly.
Engage the 3 claws.
INSTALL REAR DOOR LOCK REMOTE CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY
Install the rear door lock remote control cable assembly.
Engage the claw.
INSTALL REAR DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY
Note
When reusing the removed rear door lock assembly, replace the door lock wire harness seal on the connector with a new one.
Do not allow grease or dust to adhere on the door lock wiring harness seal surface of the connector.
Reusing the door lock wiring harness seal and/or using damaged door lock wiring harness seal may cause water intrusion. This may result in a malfunction in the rear door lock assembly.
Apply MP grease to the sliding parts on the rear door lock assembly.
Install a new door lock wiring harness seal to the rear door lock assembly.
Insert the rear door lock assembly to the rear door outside handle release plate, and set it to the rear door panel.
Make sure that the rear door outside handle frame release plate is securely connected to the rear door lock assembly.
Using a "TORX" socket wrench (T30), install the rear door lock assembly with the 3 screws.
INSTALL REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY
Note
The regulator arm must be below the intermediate position when installing the power window regulator motor.
Using a "TORX" socket wrench (T25), install the rear power window regulator motor assembly with the 3 screws.
Tech Tips
A new rear window regulator uses self-tapping screws to thread new installation holes when inserted.
INSTALL REAR DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
Apply MP grease to the sliding parts on the rear door window regulator sub-assembly.
Install the temporary bolt to the rear door window regulator sub-assembly.
Temporarily install the window regulator.
Tighten the 4 bolts in the order shown in the illustration to install the rear door window regulator.
Connect the connector.
INSTALL REAR DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY
Slide the rear door glass sub-assembly to install it as shown in the illustration.
INSTALL REAR DOOR QUARTER WINDOW GLASS
Install the rear door quarter window glass to the rear door quarter weatherstrip.
Install the rear door quarter window glass together with the rear door quarter window glass weatherstrip in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.
INSTALL REAR DOOR WINDOW DIVISION BAR SUB-ASSEMBLY
Insert the rear door window division bar from above and install it with the 2 bolts and screw.
INSTALL REAR DOOR GLASS RUN
Install the rear door glass run.
INSTALL REAR DOOR WEATHERSTRIP
Engage the 23 clips.
Install the rear door weatherstrip with the double-sided tape.
INSTALL REAR DOOR CHECK ASSEMBLY
Install the rear door check assembly with the bolt and the 2 nuts.
INSTALL REAR DOOR CHECK COVER
Install the rear door check cover.
INSTALL REAR DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER
Apply butyl tape to the rear door panel.
Pass the rear door lock remote control cable, rear door inside locking cable and each connector through a new rear door service hole cover.
Attach the rear door service hole cover according to the reference points on the rear door panel.
Note
Securely install the rear door service hole cover preventing wrinkles and air bubbles.
Engage each clamp.
Connect the connector.
INSTALL REAR NO. 3 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (w/o Front Center Speaker)
Install the rear No. 3 speaker assembly with the 2 bolts.
Tech Tips
Install the bolts in the order shown in the illustration.
Connect the connector.
INSTALL REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
Engage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration to temporarily install the rear speaker assembly.
Install the rear speaker assembly with the 3 bolts.
Tech Tips
Install the bolts in the order shown in the illustration.
Connect the connector.
INSTALL REAR DOOR FRAME GARNISH
Install the door frame garnish with the 2 clips.
INSTALL REAR DOOR TRIM COVER
Engage the 5 clips to install the rear door trim cover.
Install the screw.
INSTALL REAR DOOR INNER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP
Engage the 3 claws to install the rear door inner glass weatherstrip.
INSTALL REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY
Install the rear door inside handle sub-assembly with the 5 screws.
Install the bracket with the 3 screws.
INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
Engage the 3 claws and install the rear No. 2 speaker assembly.
Engage the speaker connector clamp.
INSTALL REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY
Install the 2 rear door trim board retainers (green).
Connect the rear door lock remote control cable and rear door inside locking cable to the rear inside handle.
Connect each connector.
Engage the rear door trim board with the 3 clips of the rear door inner glass weatherstrip.
Engage the 8 clips to install the rear door trim board to the rear door panel.
Install the 2 screws.
INSTALL REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH REAR DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL
Connect the connector.
Engage the 2 claws and 2 clips, and install the rear power window regulator switch assembly with rear door armrest base panel.
INSTALL REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG
Engage the 3 claws to install the rear door inside handle bezel plug.
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
