DESCRIPTION
When an entry lock switch is pressed and held for approximately 3 seconds: 1) the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) receives a switch signal, 2) the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) transmits a signal to all the power window regulator motor by multiplex communication via the multiplex network master switch assembly, and 3) all the power window motors are operated to close the windows.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
Note
When the the multiplex network master switch assembly connector is disconnected, the power window control system must be initialized Click here.
Since the power window control system has functions that use multiplex communication, first confirm that there is no malfunction in the multiplex communication system by inspecting the multiplex communication functions in accordance with the How to Proceed with Troubleshooting procedures Click here. Then, conduct the following inspection procedure.
PROCEDURE
CHECK BASIC FUNCTION (ENTRY AND START SYSTEM)
Check that the entry lock switch operates normally.
