POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM Key-off Operation Function Operates even if Operating Conditions are not Satisfied

When the front doors are closed, each power window regulator motor assembly can control its power window operation for approximately 45 seconds after the engine switch is turned from on (IG) to off by receiving operation permission signals from the main body ECU RH (cowl side junction block RH).

However, when approximately 45 seconds have elapsed, or the driver side door is opened and closed within approximately 45 seconds of the engine switch being turned off, the power window regulator motor assembly disables manual operation.

During an auto operation, when 45 seconds have passed and key-off operation is prohibited, the window operation will not stop until the auto operation is completed.

CHECK OPERATION FUNCTION AFTER ENGINE SWITCH IS TURNED OFF

Check the power window operation function after the engine switch is turned off.

READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (Main Body)

Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

Turn the engine switch on (IG).

Turn the intelligent tester on.

Enter the following menus: Body / Main Body / Data List.

Read the Data List according to the display on the intelligent tester.
