FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY


    1. Check the pre-crash safety system.


      1. A015YKBE07

        Disconnect the connector of the front seat outer belt assembly.

      2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 2 Always Below 1 MΩ

        • If the result is not as specified, replace the outer belt assembly.

    2. A01603LE01

      Check the degree of tilt when the ELR begins to lock.


      1. Check that the belt does not lock at less than 15 degrees of tilt in any direction but locks at over 45 degrees of tilt while gently pulling the belt.

        Note

        Do not disassemble the retractor.
