OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR


    1. A0160V0E01

      Using hog ring pliers, install the seat cushion cover to the occupant detection sensor with 16 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

  2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD (for Front Passenger Side)

      Engage the hooks.

    2. Install the front seat cushion cover with pad with the 2 clips.

    3. for Driver Side:


      1. A01607R

        Engage the 3 clamps.

      2. Connect the 2 connectors.

    4. for Passenger Side:


      1. A01634I

        Engage the 4 clamps.

      2. Connect the 2 connectors.

      3. A01615N

        Engage the 2 clamps and connect the occupant detection sensor connector.

    1. Check the power seat operation.

    2. Check the seat heater operation.


      1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

      2. Turn the seat heater switch on.

      3. Wait 5 minutes or more and confirm that the seat surface becomes warm.
