FRONT SEATBACK HEATER REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER


    1. Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the rearmost position.

    2. A0163FR

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front outer seat track bracket cover.

  3. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front inner seat track bracket cover.

  4. REMOVE REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER


    1. Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the foremost position.

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear outer seat track bracket cover.

  5. REMOVE REAR INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear inner seat track bracket cover.

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY


    1. Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the foremost position.

    2. A0162WM

      Remove the 2 bolts on the rear side of the seat.

    3. Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the rearmost position.

    4. A0161EE

      Remove the 2 bolts on the front side of the seat.

    5. Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the center position. Also, operate the power seat switch knob and move the seatback to the upright position.

    6. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

      CAUTION:

      Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system Click here.

      Note

      When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

    7. Disconnect the connectors under the seat.

    8. Remove the front seat assembly.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY

      for Driver Seat:


      1. Disconnect the connector and disengage the 3 clamps.

    2. for Passenger Seat:


      1. Disconnect the connector and disengage the 4 clamps.

    3. A0161U1

      Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly.

  8. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

  9. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 4 claws and remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

  10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 2 hooks and remove the 2 rubber bands of the front seatback board from the front seat frame.

    2. A0161TM

      Remove the 6 screws.

    3. Disengage the claw and remove the front seat cushion shield assembly.

    4. Disconnect the connector from the front power seat lumbar switch.

  11. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A0161R4

      Open the lower part of the seatback board. Then remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws.

    3. Disengage the 2 hooks and remove the front seatback board sub-assembly.

  12. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT


    1. A015ZM1

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 headrest supports.

  13. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A0160FR

      Remove the hog ring.

    2. Disengage the hooks and remove the front seatback board cover sub-assembly.

  14. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD


    1. A0160H9

      Remove the 10 hog rings.

    2. A0161DS

      Disengage the 2 hooks.

    3. Remove the 3 hog rings.

    4. A0161L0

      Remove the nut and the seatback cover bracket.

    5. Remove the front seatback cover with pad from the seatback frame.

  15. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER


    1. A016201

      Remove the 16 hog rings and the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.

  16. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY


    1. A015ZDD

      Cut off the 8 tack pins that fasten the seatback heater, and then remove the front seatback heater assembly from the seat cushion cover.
