B2071 Stop Light Control Relay Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is output when a malfunction in the stop light control relay circuit. This circuit consists of the distance control ECU and seat belt control ECU. Signals are sent from the distance control ECU to the seat belt control ECU using the CAN communication.

Note

When the seat belt control ECU is replaced with a new one, Initialization must be performed Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Recheck for DTCs.

      OK
      DTC U1101 is not output.

    NG

    GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM Click here

    OK

  2. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (DYNAMIC RADAR CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM)


    1. Turn the cruise control main switch on.

    2. Drive the vehicle at a speed of 45 km/h (27 mph) or more.

    3. Check DTC for dynamic radar cruise control system Click here.

      OK
      Dynamic radar cruise control system DTC is not output.

    GO TO DYNAMIC RADAR CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM Click here

    REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU Click here
