B2056 Axial Gap of Radar Sensor

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when the millimeter wave radar sensor beam axis does not match the direction of vehicle travel. DTC B2056 for the pre-crash safety system or DTC P1572 for the dynamic radar cruise control system will be stored unless radar sensor adjustment is performed after the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly is installed.

When the seat belt control ECU is replaced with a new one, Initialization must be performed Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Recheck for DTCs.

      OK
      CAN communication system DTC is not output.

    NG

    GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM Click here

    OK

  2. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (DYNAMIC RADAR CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM)


    1. Turn the cruise control main switch on.

    2. Drive the vehicle at a speed of 45 km/h (27 mph) or more.

    3. Check DTC for dynamic radar cruise control system Click here.

      OK
      Dynamic radar cruise control system DTC is not output.

    NG

    GO TO DYNAMIC RADAR CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM Click here

    OK

  3. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (PRE-CRASH SAFETY SYSTEM)


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Recheck for DTCs.

      OK
      DTC B2056 is not output.

    NG

    REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU Click here
