ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR (for Rear Side) REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

  2. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX LH (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

  3. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX RH (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

  4. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Remove the 3 bolts and 3 rope hook assemblies.

  5. REMOVE REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)


    1. A015ZVT

      Using a clip remover, remove the 3 clips.

    2. Disengage the 4 clips and remove the rear luggage compartment trim cover.

  6. REMOVE NO. 2 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Disengage the claw and disconnect the No. 2 room light assembly.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the No. 2 room light assembly.

  7. REMOVE ROPE HOOK (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Remove the 2 rope hooks.

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Remove the 3 No. 2 luggage compartment trim hooks as shown in the illustration.

  9. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

    2. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the front luggage compartment trim cover.

  10. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Remove the screw and No. 1 luggage compartment trim hook.

  11. REMOVE SIDE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Using a clip remover, remove the 3 clips and side luggage compartment trim cover.

  12. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR BUMPER PLATE

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 rear bumper plate.

      Tech Tips


      • Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

      • Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  13. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY

      w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-Sensor System:


      1. Disconnect the No. 3 luggage room wire connector.

    2. A0161AFE01

      Put protective tape around the rear bumper assembly.

    3. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

    4. Remove the 6 screws and 2 rear bumper seal brackets.

      Disengage the 6 claws and disconnect the rear bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the rear bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.

      w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-Sensor System:


      1. Disengage the clamp and remove the grommet.

  14. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

      Remove the rear bumper energy absorber.

  15. REMOVE ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR (ELECTRICAL KEY ANTENNA)


    1. A015ZJ5

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and the electrical key oscillator (electrical key antenna).
