INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CERTIFICATION ECU - DOOR CONTROL RECEIVER)


    1. A0161HJE01

      Disconnect the P33 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector and P31 door control receiver connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      P33-39 (RSSI) - P31-5 (RSSI) Always Below 1 Ω
      P33-38 (RDA) - P31-3 (DATA) Always Below 1 Ω
      P33-39 (RSSI) - P33-38 (RDA) Always 10 kΩ or higher
      P33-39 (RSSI) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      P33-38 (RDA) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  2. INSPECT CERTIFICATION ECU


    1. A015Z0SE34

      Reconnect the P33 ECU connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      P33-39 (RSSI) - P33-17 (E) Engine switch OFF, all doors closed, the electrical key not in the actuation area 11 to 14 V
      Engine switch OFF, all doors closed, the electrical key in the actuation area Below 1 V
      P33-38 (RDA) - P33-17 (E) Engine switch OFF, all doors closed, transmitter switch not pressed 11 to 14 V
      Engine switch OFF, all doors closed, transmitter switch pressed Below 1 V
