POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM All Doors LOCK/UNLOCK Functions do not Operate Via Master Switch, Driver Side Door Key Cylinder

DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU RH (cowl side junction block RH) receives switch signals from the multiplex network master switch, and driver side door key cylinder switch signals from the front door lock (driver side). The main body ECU RH (cowl side junction block RH) activates the door lock motor on each door according to these signals.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)


    1. Check for DTC Click here.

      OK
      B1206 output does not reoccur.

  2. CHECK FUSE (FR DOOR RH)


    1. Remove the FR DOOR RH fuse from the main body ECU RH (cowl side junction block RH).

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      FR DOOR RH fuse Always Below 1 Ω

  3. CHECK DOOR LOCK OPERATION

  6. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (DOOR KEY LINKED LOCK AND UNLOCK SWITCH)


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body / Body / Data List.

    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the intelligent tester.

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      1. Disconnect the multiplex network master switch assembly connector.

    2. for RHD:


      1. Disconnect the multiplex network master switch assembly connector.
