DESCRIPTION
This DTC is detected if communication between the multiplex network master switch (power window master switch) and gateway ECU stops for more than 10 seconds.

If "+B or GND short malfunction of communication bus" DTCs (B1214 and B1215) are detected at the same time as "communication stop" DTC B1206, perform troubleshooting for the "+B or GND short malfunction of communication bus" DTCs first Click here.
PROCEDURE
INSPECT FUSE (MPX-B)
Remove the MPX-B fuse from the No. 1 engine room relay block.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
Disconnect the M20 switch connector*1.
Disconnect the L22 switch connector*2.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
