DESCRIPTION

• The multi-media module receiver assembly receives luggage compartment door open/close signals from the main body ECU RH (cowl side junction block RH) through the network gateway ECU.

  Tech Tips

  The luggage compartment door lock assembly is connected to the main body ECU RH (cowl side junction block RH) by the vehicle wire harness.

• When the luggage compartment door is open, the rear television camera optical axis cannot be adjusted correctly because the rear television camera assembly is installed on the luggage compartment door. Therefore, the rear television camera optical axis adjustment cannot be completed while the luggage compartment door is open. If adjustment is attempted, a luggage compartment door open warning message will be displayed and the adjustment will be canceled.

2. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER

   
   

   1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

   2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

   3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

   4. Enter the following menus: Body / Body / Data List.

   5. Read the Data List according to the display on the intelligent tester.

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU RH (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK RH) - LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY)

   
   

   1. Disconnect the J75 main body ECU RH (cowl side junction block RH) connector.

   2. Disconnect the Q42 luggage compartment door lock assembly connector.

   3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

4. INSPECT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Remove the luggage compartment door lock assembly Click here.

   2. Inspect the luggage compartment door courtesy switch built into the luggage compartment door lock assembly Click here.
