INSPECT FRONT UPPER SUSPENSION ARM
Flip the ball joint stud back and forth 5 times as shown in the illustration before installing the nut.
Use a torque wrench to turn the nut continuously at a rate of 2 to 4 seconds per turn. Take the torque reading on the 5th turn.

If the value is not within the specified range, replace the front upper suspension arm with a new one.
Check the dust boots for cracks or grease leakage.
