RELAY ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT NO. 1 FAN RELAY


    1. A01637T

      Remove the relay from the engine room No. 1 relay block.

    2. Measure the resistance of the relay.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      3 - 5 Normal 10 kΩ or higher
      3 - 5 Battery voltage applied between terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.

    3. Install the relay to the engine room No. 1 relay block.

  2. INSPECT NO. 2 FAN RELAY


    1. A01637T

      Remove the relay from the engine room No. 1 relay block.

    2. Measure the resistance of the relay.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      3 - 5 Normal 10 kΩ or higher
      3 - 5 Battery voltage applied between terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.

    3. Install the relay to the engine room No. 1 relay block.
