This circuit sends a DVD image signal from the radio receiver assembly to the display and navigation module display.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR


    1. Disconnect the J106 radio receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the J124 display and navigation module display connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J106-8 (NTSC) - J124-9 (VV+) Always Below 1 Ω
      J106-22 (GND) - J124-20 (VV-) Always Below 1 Ω
      J106-8 (NTSC) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J106-22 (GND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J106-7 (SLD) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  2. INSPECT RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (DVD IMAGE SIGNAL)

      Reconnect the J106 radio receiver assembly connector.

    2. Check the waveform according to the table below.

      Tech Tips

      The video waveform changes according to the image output from the radio receiver assembly to the display and navigation module display, but the synchronization signal does not change.
