MULTI-DISPLAY REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Turn the shift lever knob counterclockwise and remove the shift lever knob sub-assembly.

  2. REMOVE UPPER NO. 1 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the claw.

    2. A0160YI

      Pull the upper No. 1 console panel garnish in the direction indicated by the arrow to disengage the 2 clips and remove the upper No. 1 console panel garnish.

  3. REMOVE UPPER NO. 2 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the claw.

    2. A015ZBL

      Pull the upper No. 2 console panel garnish in the direction indicated by the arrow to disengage the 2 clips and remove the upper No. 2 console panel garnish.

  4. REMOVE CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A0160RU

      Hold the front of the console panel sub-assembly as shown in the illustration and disengage the 8 clips by pulling the console panel sub-assembly in the direction shown by the arrow.

      Note

      Do not use any tools to disengage the clips. The use of tools may result in damage to the console panel sub-assembly.

    2. Disconnect the connectors and remove the console panel sub-assembly.

  5. REMOVE FRONT ASH RECEPTACLE ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 screws <E>.

      Pull the front ash receptacle assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow to disconnect the connectors and remove the front ash receptacle assembly.

  6. REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the 4 claws.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

      Apply protective tape to the areas shown in the illustration.

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws starting from the left of the No. 3 instrument panel register assembly. Disengage the remaining 3 claws by pulling the No. 3 instrument panel register assembly by hand.

      Note

      Do not pry the lower part of the No. 3 instrument panel register assembly. Doing so may damage the assembly.

    4. A015Z29

      for LHD:


      1. Disconnect the connector and remove the No. 3 instrument panel register assembly.

    5. A0160I2

      for RHD:


      1. Disengage the 3 clamps.

      2. Disconnect the connector and remove the No. 3 instrument panel register assembly.

  7. REMOVE CENTER LOWER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL

      Disengage the 4 claws to remove the center lower instrument cluster finish panel.

  8. REMOVE MULTI-DISPLAY WITH RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 4 bolts.

    2. Pull the multi-display with radio receiver assembly toward the rear of the vehicle.

    3. Disconnect each connector and remove the multi-display.

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET

      Disengage the connector clamp.

      Remove the 7 bolts and No. 1 radio bracket.

  10. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET

      Remove the 7 bolts and No. 2 radio bracket.

  11. REMOVE MULTI-DISPLAY ASSEMBLY


    1. A0160AI

      Slide the multi-display assembly in the direction shown by the arrow to remove the multi-display assembly.

  12. REMOVE NAVIGATION ECU


    1. A0162FK

      Disconnect the connectors.

    2. A015ZE7

      Remove the 4 screws and navigation ECU.

  13. REMOVE CLOCK ASSEMBLY

      Apply protective tape to the places shown in the illustration.

    2. A0161VO

      Insert 2 precision screwdrivers (φ1.5 or less) into the holes on both sides of the clock assembly at the angle as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Do not pry on the clock assembly with the screwdrivers as it may damage the clock assembly.

      Tech Tips

      If precision screwdrivers are not available, use in-vehicle tools (part No. 09135-53010).

    3. A015Z04E01

      Insert a screwdriver with its tip taped from the underside of the hazard switch, and pull and remove the clock assembly.

      Note

      Do not pry on the hazard switch with the screwdriver as it may damage the switch.

  14. REMOVE MULTI-DISPLAY
