SLIDING ROOF SYSTEM, Diagnostic DTC:B2343

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is output when the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly (sliding roof control ECU) has not been initialized.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

   INITIALIZE SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY (SLIDING ROOF CONTROL ECU)

   
   

   1. Check that the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly (sliding roof control ECU) can be initialized (Click here).

      OK
      Sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly (sliding roof control ECU) can be initialized.

   CHECK SLIDING ROOF FUNCTION

   
   

   1. Check the auto operation with the OPEN, CLOSE, UP and DOWN switches (Click here).

      OK
      Auto operation operates normally with OPEN, CLOSE, UP and DOWN switches.

   RECHECK FOR DTC

   
   

   1. Delete the DTCs (Click here).

   2. Recheck for DTCs (Click here).

      Tip:

      If DTCs are detected frequently, replace the ECU.

   CHECK WIRE HARNESS (SLIDING ROOF CONTROL ECU - ROOF CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY)

      Disconnect the Q12 and Q1 connectors.

   2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance

      Remove the roof console box assembly.

   2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance
