SLIDING ROOF SYSTEM, Diagnostic DTC:B2342

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is output when the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly (sliding roof control ECU) detects that the OPEN, CLOSE, UP or DOWN switch in the roof console box assembly (sliding roof switch assembly) is stuck for 30 seconds or more.

   READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (SLIDE OPEN AND TILT UP SWITCH)

   
   

   1. Use the DATA LIST to check if the sliding roof switch assembly is functioning properly.

   INSPECT ROOF CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY (SLIDING ROOF SWITCH ASSEMBLY)

      Remove the roof console box assembly.

   2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance

      Disconnect the Q12 and Q1 connectors.

   2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   1. Temporarily replace the roof console box assembly (sliding roof switch assembly) with a new one or normally functioning one (Click here).

   2. Perform the initialization (Click here)
