NAME PLATE REMOVAL

When removing the name plate and emblem heat the vehicle body, name plate and emblem using a heat light.

Heating temperature
Item Temperature
Vehicle Body 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
Name Plate, Emblem 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

Note

Do not heat the vehicle body, name plate or emblem excessively.


  1. REMOVE SYMBOL EMBLEM


    1. A017E3DE01

      Put protective tape around the symbol emblem.

    2. Using a moulding remover, peel off the double-sided tape and remove the symbol emblem.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 BACK DOOR NAME PLATE


    1. A017BC2E01

      Put protective tape around the name plate.

    2. Using a moulding remover, peel off the double-sided tape and remove the name plate.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

  3. REMOVE NO. 4 BACK DOOR NAME PLATE


    1. A017EHUE01

      Put protective tape around the name plate.

    2. Using a moulding remover, peel off the double-sided tape and remove the name plate.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

  4. REMOVE BACK DOOR NAME PLATE


    1. A017E8BE01

      Put protective tape around the name plate.

    2. Using a moulding remover, peel off the double-sided tape and remove the name plate.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

  5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR NAME PLATE


    1. A017EC9E01

      Put protective tape around the name plate.

    2. Using a moulding remover, peel off the double-sided tape and remove the name plate.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
