FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER (w/o Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function)


    1. A017FHAE01

      Using hog ring pliers, temporarily install the separate type front seat cushion cover with 11 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

    2. A017CAVE01

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover with 6 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

  2. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER (w/ Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function)


    1. A017G6IE01

      Using hog ring pliers, temporarily install the separate type front seat cushion cover with 15 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

    2. A017CJB

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover with 2 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

  3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD (w/o Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function)


    1. Temporarily install the front seat cushion cover with pad to the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.

    2. Engage the hooks as shown in the illustration.

    3. Install the 2 clips.

    4. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. Connect the seat heater connector.

      2. Engage each clamp of the seat heater wire harness.

      for Front Passenger Side:

      w/ Occupant Classification System:

      Connect the occupant detection sensor connector as shown in the illustration.

      Engage the hooks and install the front seat cushion cover with pad.

    7. Engage the 2 clamps.

  4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD (w/ Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function)


    1. Temporarily install the front seat cushion cover with pad to the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.

    2. A017CZLE01

      Using hog ring pliers, install 4 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

      Engage the hook as shown in the illustration.

    4. Engage the hooks as shown in the illustration.

    5. Install the 2 clips.

      Connect the 2 connectors.

    7. Engage the hooks.

    8. Engage the 4 clamps and install the front seat cushion cover with pad.

  5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD


    1. A017G67

      Engage the guide and temporarily install the front seat cushion inner shield as shown in the illustration.

    2. A017F7D

      Engage the claw.

    3. Install the front seat cushion inner shield with the screw.

  6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY


    1. A017FASE01

      Install the front seat inner belt assembly with the nut.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt assembly to overlap the protruding part of the front seat adjuster.

    2. Connect each connector and clamp.

  7. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD ASSEMBLY


    1. w/o Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function:

      Connect the connector to the front power seat lumbar switch.

    2. w/ Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function:


      1. Engage the each clamps.

      2. Connect the connector to the front power seat lumbar switch and the seat variable cushion switch.

      Engage the guide and the claw.

    4. Install the front seat cushion shield assembly with the 5 screws.

      Engage the hooks.

  8. INSTALL SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB


    1. A017BU4

      Engage the 4 claws and install the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

  9. INSTALL RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Engage the 2 claws and install the reclining power seat switch knob.

  10. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY


    1. Place the front seat assembly in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    2. Connect the connectors under the seat.

    3. Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.

      Note

      When reconnected the cable, some systems need to be initialized Click here.

    4. Temporarily install the front seat assembly with the 4 bolts.

    5. Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the rearmost position.

      Tighten the 2 bolts on the front side of the seat.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Tighten the bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

    7. Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the foremost position.

    8. A017B0KE01

      Tighten the 2 bolts on the rear side of the seat.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Tighten the bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

  11. INSTALL REAR INNER SEAT TRACK COVER

      Engage the 2 claws and install the rear inner seat track cover.

  12. INSTALL REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK COVER

      Engage the 2 claws and install the rear outer seat track cover.

  13. INSTALL FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK COVER


    1. Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the rearmost position.

      Engage the 2 claws and install the front inner seat track cover.

  14. INSTALL FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK COVER


    1. A017ET7

      Engage the 2 claws and install the front outer seat track cover.

  15. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

  16. INSPECT FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY


    1. Inspect the power seat operation.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:

      Check the seat heater operation.


      1. Turn the ignition switch on (IG).

      2. Turn the seat heater switch on.

      3. Wait 5 minutes or more and confirm that the seat surface becomes warm.
