FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat) DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE VERTICAL SEAT ADJUSTER KNOB

      Using a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, remove the snap ring as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Be careful not to lose the snap ring.

    2. Remove the vertical seat adjuster knob.

  2. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

      Using a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle.

  3. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTER COVER

      Using a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and remove the vertical adjuster cover.

  4. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE

      Remove the 2 screws and the vertical adjusting handle.

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD


    1. A017BM5

      Disengage the hooks.

    2. A017FZ8

      Remove the 3 screws.

    3. Disengage the claw.

    4. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front seat cushion shield.

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect each connector and clamp.

    2. A017ECU

      Remove the nut and the front seat inner belt assembly.

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD


    1. A017FOF

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the claw.

    3. A017CSU

      Separate the guide and remove the front seat cushion inner shield as shown in the illustration.

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

      w/ Front Seat Side Airbag:

      Disengage the clamp.

    2. for Front Passenger Side:


      1. A017FMW

        w/ Occupant Classification System:

        Disconnect the occupant detection sensor connector as shown in the illustration.

    3. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

    4. Disengage the hooks and remove the front seat cushion cover with pad as shown in the illustration.

  9. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER


    1. A017EKJ

      Remove the 6 hog rings.

    2. A017DIX

      Remove the 11 hog rings and the separate type front seat cushion cover.

  10. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD


    1. A017BPS

      Remove the 3 hog rings.

    2. A017CBQ

      Remove the 5 hog rings.

    3. A017EI4

      Remove the 2 hooks.

    4. A017GB7E01

      w/ Front Seat Side Airbag:

      Turn back the separate type front seatback cover to remove the nut, and separate the bracket of the separate type front seatback cover.

    5. A017DQF

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    6. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad from the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.

  11. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      Remove the 7 hog rings and the separate type front seatback cover.

  12. REMOVE ACTIVE HEADREST UPPER UNIT


    1. A017CF7

      Remove the nut and disconnect the cable from the active headrest upper unit as shown in the illustration.

    2. Remove the 4 nuts and the active headrest upper unit.

  13. REMOVE ACTIVE HEADREST LOWER UNIT

      Remove the 4 nuts and the active headrest lower unit.

  14. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH


    1. A017G5OE01

      Remove the screw.

    2. w/ Front Seat Side Airbag:

      Disengage the clamp.

    3. Disengage the guide and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  15. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH


    1. A017FWB

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  16. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the guide and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

  17. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

  18. REMOVE FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY


    1. A017ETG

      Disengage the 2 clamps and separate the airbag wire harness.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and front seat airbag assembly.

      CAUTION:


      • The nuts must not be reused.

      • Make sure that the seat frame assembly is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.

  19. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH


    1. A017EZE

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the claw and remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH as shown in the illustration.

  20. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH


    1. A017CKQ

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the claw and the guide, and remove the front seat lower cushion shield RH as shown in the illustration.

  21. REMOVE SEAT POSITION SENSOR


    1. A017BHS

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Using a "TORX" socket wrench (T30), remove the "TORX" screw and seat position sensor with the seat slide position sensor protector.

      Remove the seat position sensor from the seat slide position sensor protector as shown in the illustration.
