BACK DOOR LOCK INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY (w/o Power Back Door)


    1. A017DUV

      Connect the connector.

    2. Install the back door lock assembly with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      13 N*m  { 133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY (w/ Power Back Door)


    1. A017FMB

      Install the back door lock assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      13 N*m  { 133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }
    2. A017CMG

      Connect the connector.

    3. Engage the clamp.

  3. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY


    1. A017CKT

      Engage the 16 clips and install the back door trim panel assembly.

  4. INSTALL ASSIST STRAP ASSEMBLY


    1. A017FJZ

      Install the assist strap assembly with the bolt.

  5. INSTALL ASSIST STRAP HOLE COVER


    1. A017CPS

      Engage the 2 guides and 2 claws, and install the assist strap hole cover.

  6. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK COVER (for Glass Hatch Type)


    1. A017G02

      Engage the 4 guides and 2 claws, and install the back door lock cover.

  7. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM COVER LH (w/o Power Back Door)


    1. A017BOQ

      Engage the 2 clips and 2 claws, and install the back door trim cover LH.

  8. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM COVER LH (w/ Power Back Door)


    1. A017ERC

      Engage the 2 clips and 2 claws, and install the back door trim cover LH.

  9. CONNECT POWER BACK DOOR ROD (w/ Power Back Door)


    1. A017F50

      Install the back door stay plate and connect the power back door rod.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

  10. INSTALL BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH (w/ Power Back Door)


    1. A017ECX

      Engage the 6 claws and install the back door service hole cover LH.

  11. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM COVER RH


    1. A017D6U

      Engage the 2 clips and 2 claws, and install the back door trim cover RH.

  12. INSTALL BACK WINDOW UPPER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY

      Engage the 4 clips and 4 claws, and install the back window upper trim panel assembly.
